Why is there a test name? What does “Chicago” mean?

There are different versions of our TOEFL practice tests. For example, one test has the name “Chicago.” A different test has the name “Urbana.” (The test names are the names of U.S. or North American cities.)

If you have already taken the “Chicago” Full Test, next time you will may want to take a Full Test with a different name so you will have different test material.

Any other test with the name “Chicago” (Reading Only, Listening Only, Speaking Only, Writing Only) will have the same material as from “Chicago – Full”.
